The procedure is very fast and is usually completed in 20 minutes, with no pain and very little discomfort. If there are multiple injection sites, Dr. Work may recommend a topical anesthetic or numbing agent to ensure comfort. There is no downtime associated with this procedure and only minimal side effects, such as a headache or slight swelling and redness around the site of injection. Results of Dysport® are noticeable almost immediately and will continue to develop for a week or so.
